Dennis Solis - Owner
Originally from California, I moved to New Mexico after high school. I attended New Mexico Tech in Socorro, NM and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Then life took a detour and I spent some time running a wireline truck up and down the Rockies. I got laid off in 2015 and had to re-invent myself in order to survive. I was able to find a job as a maintenance electrician, which progressed to me moving to Farmington, and getting my Journeyman card. As I worked for a local company I began to notice the lack of a local solar installer in Farmington. I also heard horror stories of people being harassed by the 800 solar guys. It was then that my wife and I decided it was time to do our own thing. I quit my job and started Solis Solar & Electrical Inc. Our focus is on transparency from start to finish on all of our projects, and educating the public on how solar can help them.

We are proud to announce that I have earned my Mater Electrician certification in Colorado. By getting my Master Electrician certification we were able to get our company licensed to operate in Colorado.
